Film Marketing on Prezi

Film Marketing Conclusions
- Films usually have a range of posters, and usually a poster for each of the main characters which is good because it could draw in a different audience who may just like on of the actors in particular, who would watch the film because they are in it.
- The posters all have a specific tag line for the film eg. Harry Potter - It all ends, Sucker Punch - You will be unprepared.
- The films feature in magazines - big films like Harry Potter feature in big mainstream film magazines like Empire etc, with films like Sucker Punch, which would particularly appeal to gamers usually appearing in gaming magazines.
- TV adverts and cinema adverts are used, also with posters appearing on billboards and the sides of buses in the case of big budget mainstream films.
- Social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter are used to reach a wider audience through groups and fan pages.
- Overall, film marketing campaigns use a wide range of media to reach a wide audience, from TV, internet, posters and magazines etc. which makes the film a success.
